Kari May possesses extensive experience in library management and leadership, currently serving as the Director of Jackson County Library Services since July 2018. Prior to this role, Kari held the position of Assistant Director at the Utah State Library Division from June 2015 to June 2018, managing Resources and Development teams and overseeing various statewide programs. Additionally, Kari was the President of the Colorado Association of Libraries from October 2012 to June 2015, continuing as Past President in a volunteer capacity. Earlier experience includes serving as Library Director at the Elbert County Library District from April 2008 to February 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Arts in English from Appalachian State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Washington and Lee University.
