Brian Richter

Brian Richter is a seasoned technology operations leader with extensive experience in IT management and cybersecurity. Currently serving as the Director of Technology Operations for Jackson County, Missouri, since March 2020, Brian previously held the position of Director of Information Technology at Friends University, where responsibilities included managing IT infrastructure and help desk operations. Prior experience as Chief Information Officer at the Kansas Corporation Commission involved developing and implementing IT security policies and managing cyber security initiatives, including multi-factor authentication and endpoint management systems. Additionally, Brian has a strong background in developing smart classroom technologies and migrating campus systems at Bethany College, coupled with an educational foundation from Kansas State University and The University of Kansas.
