Michelle Gonzales Dnp

Michelle Gonzales DNP, APRN, ACNPC-AG, has extensive experience in both nursing and transportation planning. Currently, Michelle works at Jackson Health System, where roles range from Clinical Leadership and Development Nurse Educator to Emergency Department Associate Nurse Manager, demonstrating a strong focus on patient care and clinical education since 2016. Previous nursing positions include roles at HCA Healthcare and HCA Florida Mercy Hospital, specializing in emergency and post-anesthesia care. Beyond nursing, Michelle has significant experience in transportation planning, having served as a Senior Intermodal Systems Transportation Planning Consultant for the Florida Department of Transportation and as a Senior Transportation Planning Consultant for TranSystems and Parsons Brinckerhoff. Michelle holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Barry University, a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Religion from Spelman College.
