Christina Murphy

Christina Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Christina currently holds the role of Vice President Financial Planning & Analysis at Jackson Healthcare since January 2022, where they previously served as the Corporate Controller from January 2020 to January 2022.

Prior to their current position, Christina worked at WestRock Company in various finance and leadership roles. Christina was the Director of Finance from February 2018 to May 2019 and the Corporate Controller - Freight from August 2014 to February 2018. Christina also held the position of Vice President - IT Finance & Control from June 2011 to July 2014 and Vice President - Finance from September 2010 to June 2011. Christina began their journey at WestRock as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis from August 2007 to September 2010.

Before joining WestRock, Christina held the position of Vice President & Controller, Assistant Vice President & Controller, and Director of FP&A at ChoicePoint from May 2001 to June 2007. During their tenure, the division they oversaw experienced significant growth and expansion through both organic revenue growth and strategic acquisitions.

Christina started their career at Construction Market Data Group as a Senior Finance Manager and Senior Finance Specialist from May 1999 to March 2001.

Christina also gained valuable experience at Ernst & Young, where they worked as an Assurance & Advisory Business Services Senior from November 1997 to May 1999, and at Coopers & Lybrand as a Business Assurance Intern, Associate, and Senior Associate from June 1994 to November 1997.

Christina Murphy earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Statistics from Rice University in 1994. Christina also completed a Master's degree in Accounting from Rice University in 1995. In addition, they hold certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from both the Texas Society of CPAs and The Georgia Society of CPAs.
