Eric Wang is an Assistant Professor at The Jackson Laboratory since May 2022, focusing on understanding the dysregulated processes that drive disease initiation and therapy resistance in leukemia, while also identifying new therapeutic strategies. Prior experience includes a position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from September 2020 to May 2022, and as a Graduate Student at NYU Langone Medical Center from August 2015 to March 2020, where mentorship was received from Iannis Aifantis. Earlier roles include a Research Technician at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, where the focus was on epigenetic vulnerabilities in acute myeloid leukemia, and multiple internships at Feinstein Institute of Medical Research, working on gene therapy applications and the effects of Interleukin-10 in autoimmune diseases. Eric Wang is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Oncology at NYU School of Medicine, Sackler Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences.
