Heidi Fisher

Heidi Fisher serves as a Senior Scientific Curator at The Jackson Laboratory since September 2023. Previously, Heidi Fisher worked as an Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator at the University of Maryland from July 2015 onward. Experience also includes a position as a Research Associate at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute from December 2013 to July 2015, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard University from September 2007 to December 2013, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Texas A&M University from September 2006 to August 2007. Heidi Fisher earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology from Boston University between 2002 and 2006, a Master of Science (MSc) in Biology from UC San Diego from 2000 to 2002, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology/Biological Sciences from UC San Diego from 1996 to 2000.
