Catherine Newell Galan

Catherine Newell Galan has extensive experience in the information security field, currently serving as Information Security Manager at Jackson since May 1988, following roles as Senior Information Security Administrator and Business Analyst, where notable contributions include the automation of an underwriting system. Prior experience includes working as an Underwriter for life policies and as a Commercial lines DCC at Citizens Property Insurance Corporation from 1984 to 1988, where responsibilities involved scanning policies for archival purposes. Catherine holds an Associates degree in Business, specializing as a Computer Support Specialist from Lansing Community College, completed between 1999 and 2008, and graduated from Howell High School in 1980 after attending Jenison High School from 1975 to 1977.
