Emilio Pardo has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Emilio began their career as the Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Ernest F. Hollings, where they served as the national spokesperson for the Senate Commerce Committee.

Emilio later joined FleishmanHillard, a public relations and marketing firm, where they held the position of Senior Vice President and Senior Partner. During their tenure, they managed the firm's first Latin American office in Puerto Rico and played a pivotal role in expanding its global presence.

Emilio then co-founded CityNet, a leading broadband network company, where they served as the Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors. Emilio was responsible for pioneering the construction of fiber optic networks in the United States and international cities.

After their time at CityNet, they joined Discovery Communications as the Senior Vice President in charge of strategic business development for their broadcast networks. Emilio developed numerous partnerships in the health and fitness sectors, including the creation of the first-ever series of Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs.

Following their successful tenure at Discovery Communications, Emilio joined AARP, where they held several key positions. Emilio served as the Chief Brand Officer (EVP) and was responsible for managing and integrating the brand throughout the organization. Additionally, they served as the President of Life Reimagined, where they led a multinational team in the development of a personal fulfillment digital platform.

Most recently, Emilio served as the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Jackson, a world leader in retirement solutions. In this role, they oversaw branding, marketing, and communications activities, with a focus on strengthening brand identification and enhancing customer engagement. Emilio also founded the Alliance for Lifetime Income and launched the Retire Your Risk campaign, which aimed to protect retirement income and demystify annuities.
