Mike Kowalski

Mike Kowalski is a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in managing and engineering IT security solutions. Currently serving as Manager of Information Security Engineering at Jackson since May 2017, Mike oversees a global cybersecurity engineering team and aligns operations with business objectives and regulatory standards. Previously, Mike held the position of Security Engineer at Volkswagen Group of America, enhancing cybersecurity across corporate and manufacturing sites. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Senior Systems Administrator at Campbell-Ewald, where Mike modernized IT systems for over 1,200 users, and as a Network Engineer at BigNet.net, focusing on network infrastructure for small organizations. Mike began a career in technology as a Computer Technician at Firstbank Corporation. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Alma College.
