Alec Kerr

Alec Kerr has a diverse work experience, primarily in the education field, with some coaching and hospitality experience as well. Alec began their career in 2010 as an Assistant Defensive Line Coach at Millsaps College and later served as a Defensive Line Coach at Bailey Magnet High School. In 2012, they volunteered as an Outside Linebackers Coach at Mississippi College. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Front of the House Employee at Sal & Mookie's. In 2013, they joined Jackson Public Schools as a Mississippi Studies and World Geography Teacher and also served as a Volunteer Assistant Defensive Line Coach at Millsaps College. In 2015, they moved to Hinds County School District where they held the position of Advanced World Geography Teacher/Assistant Football Coach. Alec then returned to Jackson Public Schools in 2016 as a Teacher, where they currently work.

Alec Kerr completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Millsaps College from 2006 to 2010. Alec later pursued a Master of Education in Teaching Arts at Mississippi College, studying there from 2012 to 2016.
