Jana Williams Ed.s.

Jana Williams, Ed.S. has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Jana started their career in 2005 as a Fiscal Officer at the Mississippi Department of Human Services and later worked as an Assistant Auditing Assistant at the MS Office of the State Auditor in 2007. In 2009, Jana joined the Mississippi Department of Human Services as an Auditor and continued in this role until 2011. During this time, they also held positions as a Compliance Monitor and Graduation Coach/Teacher before becoming the College and Career Readiness Manager at Jackson Public Schools in August 2021.

Jana Williams, Ed.S., has a solid educational background with a variety of degrees in different fields of study. Jana first pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Accounting from Tougaloo College, which they successfully completed in 2003. Following this, they obtained their Master's Degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Jackson State University, graduating in 2005. In 2013, Jana pursued further education and earned a Master's Degree in Accounting from the same institution. Jana'seducational journey continued at the University of Mississippi, where they pursued a specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, starting in 2019 and completing it in 2021.
