Janet Wallace

Janet Wallace has a work experience spanning from 2011 to the present. Janet began their career at Barack H. Obama Magnet Elementary School as an Elementary School Teacher, where they worked from August 2011 to July 2019. Since July 2019, Janet has been with Jackson Public Schools, where they initially served as the New Teacher Induction Curriculum Lead until June 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Manager, Teacher Support & Retention.

Janet Wallace obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Jackson State University in the years 2005-2011. Janet then pursued a Master of Science degree in Education from Walden University, completing it in 2014. Janet continued their educational journey at Mississippi College, where they earned an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration in the years 2020-2021. Currently, they are working towards completing their Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, also at Mississippi College, with an expected completion in 2024. Additionally, Janet has enrolled in a Doctorate of Education Leadership program at Mississippi College, but specific start and end dates are not available.
