Maria West has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2011, they worked at Jackson Public Schools as a Records Clerk until 2018. In 2018, they joined the Mississippi Division of Medicaid as a Medicaid Specialist until 2019. Maria then returned to Jackson Public Schools in 2020, where they held various positions including Pupil Accounting Specialist, Enrollment and Records Specialist, Office Manager, and currently, they serve as a Teacher.
Maria West attended Jackson State University from 2021 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they attended Hinds Community College, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal.
