Roderick Smith

Roderick Smith has extensive experience in educational roles, currently serving as Assistant Principal at Jackson Public Schools since February 2014. Additionally, Roderick has been an Instructional Interventionist at Wingfield High School since August 2011, where responsibilities include dropout prevention and coordination of the Teacher Support Team. Previous positions include roles as a Technology Instructor, Department Chair, and STEM Academy Coordinator, demonstrating strong leadership in technology and instructional support across various educational settings. Roderick's career began with an Instructional Interventionist position at Kappa Alpha Psi from 2008 to 2013 and a Technology Instructor role at Callaway High School from August 2007 to July 2011. Roderick holds a Master of Science in Technology Education and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Jackson State University.
