Desiree Fulton

Desiree Fulton has extensive experience in marketing communications and public relations. Since 2011, they have been working at Jackson Spalding, where they currently lead the Orkin Commercial Services account, managing a multimillion dollar budget and overseeing team management. Desiree'sresponsibilities include strategic planning, digital marketing, sales enablement, internal communications, PR, and brand strategy. Desiree also develops executive-facing memos and presentations that condense project details into memorable narratives.

Prior to their current role, Desiree worked as a Media Relations Intern at the University of Alabama Media Relations department from 2010 to 2011. Desiree wrote press releases, newsletter stories, and features about campus events and aided in marketing stories through various channels. In 2011, they also worked as a Media Writing Center Mentor at the University of Alabama College of Communication and Information Sciences.

Desiree has experience as a Public Relations Intern at The Hauser Group, where they conducted media outreach and created press materials, articles, newsletter stories, and social media content for multiple clients. Desiree also worked as a Public Relations and Social Media Intern at the St. Louis Regional Clean Air Partnership (SLRCAP), designing and executing their social media campaign.

In 2009, Desiree served as a Staff Writer at The Crimson White, a news organization, and as a Public Relations Intern at the United Way of Greater St. Louis, where they wrote partner success stories, articles, public service announcements, and press releases. Desiree also translated press materials into Spanish for the 2-5-1 Campaign and created social content.

Desiree began their career in 2008 as a News Intern at WVUA7 News, where they planned story angles, conducted interviews, and wrote scripts for packages. Desiree also worked as an Office Assistant at Headquarters Air Mobility Command Public Affairs.

Throughout their various roles, Desiree has gained experience in writing, media relations, social media management, and strategic communication.

Desiree Fulton attended The University of Alabama from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree. Desiree'sareas of study included Public Relations and Spanish.
