Monica Corbett has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Monica is currently working as the Head of Public Relations at Jackson Spalding since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Manager of Communications at GoFundMe from 2021 to 2022, where they led the east coast communications team and handled brand stories, media coverage, and crisis responses. Monica also worked at the Florida Hospital Association as the Senior Vice President from 2019 to 2021, overseeing internal and external communications, media relations, and advocacy efforts. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Public Affairs at the same organization from 2012 to 2019. In 2012, Monica worked as a Freelance Technology Writer, providing content development services for technology brands. Monica also has experience as a Grant Project Manager at The Florida Department of Education from 2011 to 2012 and as an Advertising Account Manager at The Zimmerman Agency from 2005 to 2011. Monica Corbett obtained their Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Florida State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in June 2013.
