Derrick Brown

Derrick Brown has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Derrick is currently working as the Director of IT at Jackson Supply Co. since March 2022. Prior to this, they were a Solutions Architect at IronEdge Group from September 2020 to March 2022. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at IronEdge Group as a Solutions Architect and Senior Support Specialist. Before joining IronEdge Group, they worked as a Senior Network Engineer at The Broadleaf Group from January 2014 to August 2014. Derrick also has extensive experience at NetSys Technologies Inc., where they worked in various roles such as Senior Network Engineer, CTO, and Network Engineer from 1999 to 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a Network Technician at NetSys Technologies Inc. from 1998 to 1999.

Derrick Brown attended the University of Houston from 2004 to 2005, where they studied Electrical Engineering. Prior to that, they studied Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University from 1997 to 1998. In addition to their education, Derrick received certifications such as the Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA - V) from Citrix in November 2016, and the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) from Cisco in June 2016.
