Duane Lites

Duane Lites has extensive experience in the field of litigation support. Duane began their career as a Litigation Support Manager at Locke Purnell Rain Harrell, where they provided technical and functional design, implementation, and training for litigation support products. Duane also managed the implementation of a litigation support extranet and completed a 12-month project to implement a litigation support system for the firm.

After their time at Locke Purnell Rain Harrell, Duane joined Thompson & Knight LLP as a Litigation Support Manager. In this role, they provided automated case solutions for attorneys and legal assistants, including case management, data design, and product training. Duane also managed large automated case projects involving coded documents and scanned images.

Duane then transitioned to the role of Director of Sales at Compulit, where they led the Electronic Discovery Division and provided consultation, analysis, and strategy solutions to clients. Duane also conducted CLE-approved seminars on electronic discovery and litigation support.

As Director of Business Development at Cataphora, Duane was responsible for electronic discovery sales in Texas and the Southwest region. Duane also presented and hosted seminars on electronic discovery and evidence analytics.

Currently, Duane serves as the Director of Litigation Support at Jackson Walker, LLP. In this role, they coordinate all litigation support technology services for the firm's attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. Duane works with the firm's management team to create and implement a strategy for the Litigation Support Department that focuses on quality work product and leading-edge technology solutions.

In addition to their roles at various companies, Duane has also served on the editorial board of Litigation Support Today, a magazine dedicated to serving the needs of litigation support professionals.

Duane Lites attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. Duane also holds additional certifications, including Certified Computer Forensics Examiner (CCFE) from the Information Assurance Certification Review Board (IACRB), Certified E-Discovery Specialist (ACEDS) from the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), and Mindseye Certified Administrator from Mindseye Solutions.
