Joel Lytle, CISSP, has over 20 years of experience in information security and networking. Joel began their career as a Sr Systems Engineer at Vanstar in 1996 and went on to hold various roles at NCD, DCRI, and Galderma Labs. In 2001, Joel joined MetaSolv Software as an Information Security Manager, where they were responsible for developing new InfoSec policies and implementing security infrastructure projects. Joel then worked as an Information Security Manager at Perot Systems, overseeing the implementation and oversight of the Federal Student Aid VDC security program. Joel also served as a Sr Security Engineer at Digital Discovery Corp, conducting security vulnerability assessments and providing technical support for the development of internal security policies. Joel later joined CynergisTek, Inc. as a Sr Security Consultant, conducting information security program reviews and vulnerability assessments for healthcare clients. Currently, Joel is the Director of Information Security at Jackson Walker LLP, where they are responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive information security program.

Joel Lytle, CISSP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a specialization in Information Technology Management, which they obtained from Western Governors University between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 2003 to 2006, focusing on Criminal Justice. Joel also completed an Associate's degree in Arts at Tarrant County College from 2001 to 2003. In addition, they received training in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology at Amtech Institute in 1987-1988. Joel graduated from Greeley County High School in 1986.
