Daniel Townsend

Daniel Townsend has extensive experience in the broadcasting and media production industry, currently serving as a Commercial and Creative Services Producer at WAPT-TV since June 2015, where responsibilities include writing and editing daily topicals to engage viewers with news broadcasts. Previously, Daniel worked as a Promotions Producer at WCBI-TV from October 2013 to May 2015, utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud and green screen technology to create promotional content for various station events. Additionally, Daniel held the position of Director of Media and Technology at Columbus First United Methodist Church from January 2013 to October 2014, collaborating with a creative design team to develop multimedia presentations for church services. Education includes a degree from Delta State University and attendance at Northwest Mississippi Community College, along with completing high school at New Hope High School.
