Bart Laird

Bart Laird, PHR, is an accomplished Human Resources Executive currently serving at the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office since August 2023, and previously held the position of Senior Manager of Human Resources at the same organization since June 2014. With extensive experience in managing the civilian workforce life-cycle, Bart is adept at recruiting, selection, onboarding, employee performance, and offboarding, as well as interpreting Civil Service Rules and various Collective Bargaining Agreements. Prior roles include HR leadership positions with the City of Jacksonville and grant management at the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Bart holds multiple degrees, including an MSHRM from Troy University, an MBA, and dual BS degrees in Business Management and Marketing from the University of Phoenix.
