Chris LaValley is a seasoned professional in digital forensics and education, currently serving as a Digital Forensic Investigator at the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office since December 2021. In addition to this role, Chris is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Computing-Computer Forensics at the University of North Florida and operates Inventa16, LLC, providing digital forensic services, consultation, and training. As a Technical Trainer for Cellebrite, Chris instructs law enforcement on mobile forensic examination devices. Previously, Chris had a distinguished career at the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, becoming the first computer forensic examiner in 2005 and serving in various capacities from 1994 to 2019. Chris holds a Master of Science in Computing & Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Florida.
