Program Manager - Facilities & Multimodal at Jacksonville Transportation Authority

Wendi Murray's work experience begins with their role as a Program Manager - Facilities & Multimodal at the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, which they started in February 2020. In this position, they are responsible for managing the Authority's Facilities and Multimodal Program, including overseeing projects such as facility renovations, new constructions, transit hubs, sustainability initiatives, and parking facilities.

Before joining the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, Wendi worked at CSX from 2018 to 2019 as a Manager Terminal Maintenance in the Facilities Department. Their role involved ensuring reliable and cost-effective facilities to support safe and timely train operations for both CSX Transportation, Inc. and CSX Intermodal, Inc.

Prior to CSX, Wendi held various roles at CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc. Wendi worked as a Manager Terminal Maintenance in the Terminal Development Department from 2017 to 2018, and as a Facility Manager in the same department from 2014 to 2017. In these positions, they were responsible for the maintenance and development of terminals.

Wendi's work experience also includes a role as a Project Engineer IV at Jones Edmunds from 2007 to 2014. Wendi started their career at Continental in 2002 as a Product Industrialization Engineer, a position they held until 2004.

Wendi Murray has a Master of Engineering degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the University of Florida. Wendi also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. In addition to their degrees, Wendi obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers in January 2014.
