James D. has a diverse work experience in real estate and business development. James worked as the Vice President of Real Estate at Jaco Oil Company starting from January 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Real Estate at Garden Fresh Restaurants from December 2017 to January 2020. James also worked at 7-Eleven as a Senior Real Estate Representative, where they were responsible for acquiring new sites and negotiating leases from August 2014 to January 2018. James also held the position of Real Estate Assets Manager at JIB from May 2010 to August 2014. Moreover, James gained experience in real estate management as a Real Estate Manager at Peet's Coffee & Tea from May 2006 to June 2008 and as a Real Estate Development Manager at Starbucks from February 2005 to May 2006. Additionally, James worked at BP as a Business Development Manager from January 1994 to February 2004, where they focused on site selection, lease negotiation, property management, and market planning for ARCO AM/PM gas stations.

James D. completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Willamette University between 1985 and 1989. James later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School from 1991 to 1993.
