Kandi Johnson

Kandi Johnson is an experienced program coordinator with a strong background in public relations and communications. Since July 2015, Kandi has been with Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement, initially serving as an activity specialist and currently in the role of program coordinator, leading groups for children aged 5 to 12 and maintaining attendance records. Kandi also held previous positions, including a public relations intern at UpSpring PR, where management of social media and media list building were key responsibilities, and a communications intern at Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement House, where social media engagement was enhanced. Kandi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from The City College of New York and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology from Kingsborough Community College.
