Sophy Pashley

Sophy Pashley has extensive work experience in the legal field. Their most recent role was as Chief Counsel, UK and Ireland at Jacobs Douwe Egberts since October 2015. Prior to that, they were the Senior Legal Counsel, EMEA at Avis Budget Group EMEA from August 2013 to September 2015. Sophy also held positions as Legal Counsel and Deputy Director at Robert Bosch UK Holdings Limited from March 2008 to July 2013.

Before transitioning into the corporate world, Pashley had experience as a Trainee Solicitor at Osborne Clarke and as a Legal Advisor at Porsche Cars GB Ltd. Sophy also had earlier roles in the telecommunications and information systems industries, including positions at Argus Telecommunications, Integra Information Systems, Advantra, State Rail Authority, and Community Justice Centre.

Sophy Pashley completed their BA in Criminal Justice at the University of South Wales from 1995 to 1998. Sophy then pursued a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law through Distance Learning at the College of Law in Birmingham, from 2002 to 2004. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Legal Practice Course through Distance Learning at the College of Law in Guildford.
