Cedar Simmons

Cedar Simmons, PE, is an experienced professional in engineering and education. They began their career as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger, contributing to cementing and stimulation projects from 1999 to 2002. Cedar later worked as a Project Engineer at The Dyer Partnership Engineers & Planners, specializing in wastewater design and construction management from 2005 to 2014. They served in various roles at Parametrix, including Environmental Engineering Group Lead, until 2023 and transitioned to a Senior Project Manager and Client Service Lead at Jacobs in 2023. Cedar holds a Master of Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Western Oregon University, in addition to dual Bachelor’s degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Colorado School of Mines.
