Chai Jayachandran

Chai Jayachandran currently serves as a Health Principal at Jacobs in Singapore, a position held since January 2022. Previously, Chai was the Health Studio Leader and Principal at SmithGroup from May 2017 to December 2021, following a role as Senior Medical Planner and Associate at Perkins+Will from February 2014 to April 2017. Prior experience includes work as a Medical Planner at KMD Architects and as a Project Architect/Medical Planner at HDR. Chai began the professional career as an Architect at Jayachandran & Associates. Chai holds a Master of Architecture in Health Systems Design and Planning from Texas A&M University, earned in 2002, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Madras, received in 1999.
