Colin Wilson

Colin Wilson is a Water and Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer at Jacobs, where responsibilities include solving wastewater engineering challenges and leading research on a novel anaerobic digestion technology aimed at enhancing renewable natural gas production. With extensive experience dating back to 2003 as a Ski Instructor and Trainer at various ski resorts, Colin has also contributed to wastewater resource recovery as an Operations Specialist at Clean Water Services and developed microbial and synthetic biology technologies at Cemvita Factory Inc. Previous roles include Graduate Student Researcher at Colorado School of Mines, Biological Science Laboratory Technician at Portland VA Medical Center, and multiple positions at Willamette University, focusing on laboratory instruction and outdoor program development. Colin holds a Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Willamette University, and has ongoing commitments to lifelong learning in mathematics and engineering.
