Dr David Cobby

Dr. David Cobby is an accomplished professional in the field of water and environment management with over 17 years of experience at Jacobs, where roles include Senior Associate Director, Senior Stormwater Consultant, and Technical Director since January 2006. Previously, David held the position of Science & Operations Coordinator at the Natural Environment Research Council from July 2004 to December 2005 and worked as a Modeller at Jacobs from May 2003 to June 2004. A postdoctoral researcher at Cranfield University from October 2002 to April 2003, David earned a PhD from the University of Reading in 2002, focusing on airborne remote sensing for improved river flood modeling. Additional educational accomplishments include a Master of Research in meteorology from The University of Edinburgh and a joint honours degree in oceanography from Bangor University.
