Jan Hafner

Jan Hafner is currently the Abschnittsleiter Archäologie at Jacobs, having begun this role in 2023. From 2017 to 2023, they served as a Configuration Management Manager at MEKRA Lang GmbH & Co. KG, where they oversaw various aspects of configuration management strategies. Prior to that, Jan worked as an archaeologist at Büro für Ausgrabungen und Dokumentation BfAD Heyse from 2002 to 2017, where they managed archaeological surveys and excavations. They also gained experience as a museum educator in 2000 and held a brief role as a lecturer at VHS Ingolstadt in 2006. Jan earned a Magister Artium in Art History and Archaeology from Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg and studied at Universität Wien.
