Jeff Merrell

Jeff Merrell has extensive experience in construction management and project controls, currently serving as Pre-Construction, Construction Manager, and Technical Manager at Jacobs since August 2018. Previously, Jeff worked at SDS Mechanical & Automation, where responsibilities included project controls and construction management for a brownfield fiberglass furnace project. As Technical Director at the same company, Jeff focused on developing proposals and optimizing work processes for equipment design-build projects. Jeff's diverse career includes roles such as General Manager at TEC Industrial, Director of Plant Services at Day & Zimmermann, Senior Project Manager at Fluor Corporation and Day & Zimmermann, and various positions at BE&K and Rust Constructors. Jeff began the professional journey as a Project Engineer at Fluor-Daniel, showcasing a progressive skill set in construction planning, management, and engineering. Education was pursued at Winthrop University from 1975 to 1977.
