Dr. Rajeev Samarage is the Data & Analytics Program Director and a Senior Research Fellow at the Melbourne Institute: Applied Economic & Social Research. With a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Monash University, Dr. Samarage has expertise in data analytics and visualization, having designed a sector-first training program for junior data analysts and led initiatives in regulatory compliance both in Australia and the United States. Previously, Dr. Samarage contributed as a Research Lead at 4DMedical, where they spearheaded research and development efforts, and has also served on various advisory panels related to data strategy and governance. Currently, Dr. Samarage advises on data strategy at Beaconhills College and is involved with the Jacobs Digital Advisory & Advanced Analytics team.
