Richard Schmidt

Richard Schmidt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project and program management within the technology and defense sectors. Currently serving as Director of Enterprise Operations and Maintenance at Jacobs since September 2018, Richard previously held the position of Program Manager at Vector Planning & Services, Inc., providing management support for Navy contracts. Additional roles include Technical Project Manager at ecoATM, Senior Technical Project Manager at Serco, and Tier III Senior Engineer at CSC. Richard's career began in the US Army as a Russian Voice Interceptor. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from George Mason University, along with an Associate’s Degree in Russian Studies from Northern Virginia Community College.
