Richard Smith

Richard Smith is currently the Transport Planning Director at Jacobs, a position held since 2019. Previously, they served as the Director of Integration at Transport for London from 2000 to 2002 and as the Director of Transport Strategy at London Transport from 1980 to 2000. Smith's earlier career includes working as an Analyst at the Transport Research Laboratory from 1974 to 1976 and as the Major Projects Director at CH2M HILL from 2013 to 2019. They earned a BA in Economics from the University of East Anglia and an MSc in Operational Research from the University of Strathclyde.
