Sean McCarthy

Sean McCarthy is a seasoned structural drafter and design supervisor with extensive experience in the engineering and drafting industry spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Contract Structural Drafter at Jacobs since August 2015, McCarthy focuses on maritime structures for the South of Embley Project. Previous roles include contract positions at URS Corporation, where responsibilities involved senior structural drafting for the KiwiRail North Island Main Trunk bridge replacement project. McCarthy also held significant design and management positions at KBR, Inc., overseeing technical direction and quality assurance, as well as mentoring staff. Additional experience includes serving as a CAD Coordinator at The Horizon Alliance and contributing to high-profile projects such as the Lihir Gold Project during a brief tenure at DAVY KINHILL FLUOR DANIEL JOINT VENTURE.
