Tushar Bhandari

Tushar Bhandari has extensive experience in the field of tunnelling and geotechnics, with a career spanning from January 2012 to the present. Initial training occurred at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd as a Trainee in the Jaipur Metro Project. Subsequently, Tushar held various positions at Jacobs, including Principal Tunnelling Engineer and Associate Director of Tunnelling. Prior roles at SMEC included Operations Manager, where responsibilities encompassed business development and project management for over 30 infrastructure projects, as well as engineering design for tunnels and hydropower projects. Tushar also served as Deputy Head of SMEC Rail India and held academic distinctions such as DAAD Scholar at Universität Stuttgart. Educational qualifications include a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from Nirma University and an M.Tech. in Rock Engineering and Underground Structures from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, complemented by ongoing studies as an NATM Engineer at Technische Universität Graz.
