Bethan Lewis has extensive work experience in various roles related to public sector procurement, business development, and systems management. Bethan started their career in 1998 at Flintshire County Council as a Revenues Officer, where they worked until 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they served as a Council Tax Team Leader at Chester City Council. Bethan then joined Chester City Council again in 2007 as a Systems Coordinator, leading the migration of databases and implementing new systems. In 2009, they moved to Cheshire West and Cheshire Council as a Systems Coordinator, responsible for balancing new systems and providing administrative support. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Systems and Compliance Manager at arvato UK & Ireland, ensuring compliance with legislation and managing service-specific systems. Finally, Bethan joined Jacobs Enforcement in 2013, where they held multiple roles including Business Development Manager and later became the Head of Public Sector Procurement. In these positions, they focused on marketing, sales, client management, and continuous improvement of service delivery.

Bethan Lewis attended Preston College from 1997 to 1998. Bethan studied as an IRRV Revenues Technician, but no degree was earned during this time.
