Wayne Southam, P.E. has extensive experience in project management and construction engineering. Wayne started their career in 2004 as a Civil Engineering Officer in the United States Air Force, where they managed and directed multiple contracts for maintenance projects valued at over $25 million. In 2006, they joined Ceco Concrete Construction, LLC as a Project Manager and Construction Engineer, leading and directing structural concrete construction projects for the company. During their time at Ceco Concrete Construction, they generated $500,000 in labor savings and maintained a safety record with no lost time accidents. In 2013, they joined Mountain Crane Service as a Lift Engineer, and later became the Chief Project Engineer and Director of the Refinery Division. In this role, Wayne led and managed all aspects of heavy crane lifts and critical lifts for oil and gas refineries and heavy industrial projects. Wayne directed project and turnaround teams as large as 80 employees. In 2019, Wayne joined Jacobsen Construction as a Concrete Project Manager.

Wayne Southam, P.E. completed their undergraduate studies from 1997 to 2003 at the United States Air Force Academy, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. After a gap in their education, Wayne went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration degree from Brigham Young University, which they completed between 2008 and 2010. In June 2011, they obtained the certification of Professional Engineer from the UTAH Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing.
