Melanie A. is an accomplished professional in the travel and hospitality industry, currently serving as the Regional Sales Manager for Nordics at JacTravel since May 2023. Melanie has also been the Managing Director of Heritage City Lets Ltd since June 2013, overseeing a collection of holiday apartments in Edinburgh's New Town. Previously, Melanie held the position of International Marketing Manager for Long Haul & Emerging Markets at VisitScotland from August 2002 to August 2014, and served as General Manager for the Edinburgh Office of Discover Travel & Tours from July 1997 to July 2002, where significant profitability was achieved during challenging industry conditions. Melanie holds a degree in Hospitality Management from Queen Margaret University, completed between 1990 and 1992.
