Jan Wellmann

Jan Wellmann is an experienced audio technology professional currently serving as the Head of Group Audio System Technology and Automatic Speech Recognition at Fraunhofer IDMT since 2018. Additionally, Jan Wellmann has been a Lehrbeauftragter at Jade Hochschule since 2012. Previously, Jan Wellmann worked as a Researcher at Fraunhofer IDMT from 2012 to 2017, focusing on speech recognition and embedded devices. Prior to that, Jan Wellmann held the position of Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Leibniz Universität Hannover, specializing in embedded audio signal processing and power electronics, and worked as a Developer at Kling & Freitag GmbH. Jan Wellmann earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree from Leibniz Universität Hannover between 2000 and 2007.
