John G. Asimou

John G. Asimou is an experienced professional in the steel industry, currently serving as Director of Quality & Metallurgy at Jade-Sterling Steel since 2008. Previously, John held the position of President at St Demetrios Church from 2005 to 2009, and served as EVP-GM at Republic Technologies International from 1996 to 2005, overseeing multiple steel production facilities. Earlier career highlights include serving as EVP-Technology and GM at American Steel & Wire from 1984 to 1995, where John was a founder of Steel Rod and Wire Co. and played a pivotal role in launching a $120M rod rolling mill. John's career began at USSteel Corp. from 1970 to 1981 as Manager of Quality Control for Cold Reduced Strip, Wire, and Rod.
