Leonie Willems Derks

Leonie Willems Derks is an experienced educator and coach, currently serving as an Ambulant begeleider autisme at Jados since July 2023. As the owner of Hoeve de Omslag since March 2020, Leonie specializes in coaching children and teenagers to develop and strengthen executive functions. Leonie has a robust teaching background, including roles as a docente at Pius X-College from August 2009 to June 2024 and as a docente praktijkonderwijs dierhouderij, where responsibilities included mentoring and guiding students in practical animal husbandry education. Prior teaching experiences include positions at Helicon Opleidingen and Praktijkschool de Rijzert. Leonie holds a Bachelor of Education from STOAS Hogeschool Den Bosch and has pursued several specialized trainings in coaching and intervention techniques involving horses.
