Mateen Jaffer has 18 years of experience in the IT industry. Mateen started their career in 1995 as an Electrical Engineer at General Dynamics Land System. After two semesters as a Co-Op Student Engineer, they were offered a full-time position. In 1997, they began working as a Software Engineer and SS7 Specialist at DSC Communications, which was later bought out by Alcatel USA, Inc. In 2002, they founded Jafferson Computers, where they served as an IT Consultant and Entrepreneur. In 2013, they developed the Sunday School Management System for SunWebApp.com.

Mateen Jaffer holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn (1993-1996). Mateen also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Eastern Michigan University (2012-2015) and a Certificate in Business Administrations from the same institution (2011-2012). Additionally, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Introduction to Microsoft 365 for IT Pros (2023), Microsoft 365 Essential Training for Administrators (2023), Learning Computer Security and Internet Safety (2015), and 10,000 Small Business and Management from the Alumni - Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program (2013).
