Georg Clauss has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Georg started their career at Wild Leitz AG as a Systems Engineer and Project Manager in 1988-1989. Georg then joined HAAG-STREIT AG in 1989 as a Project Manager Development, and later became the Marketing & Sales Manager from 1993-1994. In 1994, they moved to ABB Turbo Systems AG as a Marketing Manager until 1998. After that, they joined Ascom Business Systems AG as the Head of Sales Area & Key Account Management from 1998-2001. Lastly, they worked at JAG Jakob Ltd Process Technology as the Director of Marketing & Sales from January 2013 to December 2015 and has been Head of Marketing since 2016.

Georg Clauss pursued their undergraduate education at ETH Zürich from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a degree of Dipl. Ing. ETH / Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering. Later, from 1992 to 1994, Georg Clauss continued their studies at ETH Zürich, focusing on postgraduate studies in Management, Technology, and Economics.
