Shippi Raj Sharma

Shippi Raj Sharma is an experienced professional in the microfinance sector, currently serving as the Head of Internal Audit at Jagaran Microfin Pvt Ltd since July 2025, focusing on risk, audit, and quality control. Prior to this role, Shippi held the position of Zonal Business Head - East at Ananya Finance For Inclusive Growth Private Limited from March 2018 to July 2025, managing a portfolio of nine partners and facilitating financial access for microfinance institutions and NBFCs across East and North India. Earlier experience includes serving as Regional Operation Manager at Indian Grameen Services, overseeing the Livelihood & Microfinance Promotion Fund across six states, and various roles at BASIX, where responsibilities included managing microfinance branches and training sales teams. Shippi began a career at ICICI Bank as a Senior Executive in the Rural and Micro Agri Business Group. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Marketing and Finance from EIRM and a Bachelor of Commerce from Calcutta University.
