Jagdish Katyal

Jagdish Katyal has had a long and varied career in the IT and security industry. In 2000, they began as Regional Sales Manager at Netaxs. In 2002, they moved to Ikoya as Vice President of Sales. In 2004, they became a Consultant at HLI. In 2008, they co-founded Metro Area Technologies and served as Managing Partner, and also joined E.L.S. Communications Inc. as Executive Vice President of Sales. In 2009, they became a Partner at PARK PLACE BROKERAGE SERVICES LLC, where they designed and developed custom network and security equipment and software, conducted IT and equipment audits, and streamlined the environmentally friendly disposition of IT assets. In 2014, they founded JagKumar ~ HUBZone Certified, an IT and security company specializing in electronic security services. In 2016, they were appointed by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia to serve on the 29-member Criminal Justice Services Board, the approving authority for the department’s regulations, and also serve on the Private Security Services Advisory Board of Virginia. In October 2019, they were elected Chairman of the Private Security Services Advisory Board of Virginia.

Jagdish Katyal graduated from Georgetown University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
