Patrick Ryan, Ph.D.

Patrick Ryan, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in various roles within the biotechnology and healthcare industries. Patrick currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Program Strategy and Development at Jaguar Gene Therapy, where they are responsible for integrated program strategy and development in alignment with the company's broader corporate strategy. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Corporate Program Development at the same company, where they executed development programs and worked closely with cross-functional teams.

Before joining Jaguar Gene Therapy, Patrick worked for Novartis Gene Therapies as the Strategic Assistant to the Leadership Team, overseeing operational management and communication of strategy and performance. Patrick also served as the Strategic Assistant to the AveXis Leadership Team at AveXis, Inc., where they gained experience in program management and strategic alliances.

Patrick's earlier experience includes roles at Shire, Baxalta, and Baxter International Inc., where they held positions in marketing, engineering management, and principal engineering.

Patrick started their career as a Graduate Student at Northwestern University and gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Compliance Partners, LLC.

Patrick Ryan, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University in the years 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued their Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Northwestern University from 2006 to 2011. In addition to their academic achievements, they also obtained a certification in Management for Scientists and Engineers from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in August 2011.
