Michael Guy DVM MS PhD has extensive experience in the field of animal health and veterinary medicine. Michael started their career as a DVM student at Colorado State University in 1989 and later pursued a PhD in the same field from 1991 to 1997. During their time at Colorado State University, they gained valuable knowledge and expertise in veterinary medicine.

Following their education, Michael worked as a Scientist at Amgen from 1995 to 1998, where they contributed to scientific research. Michael then joined Heska Corporation as a Senior Scientist from 1999 to 2002.

In 2004, Michael joined Colorado Serum Company as a Staff Veterinarian, where they provided veterinary care and expertise. Michael later moved on to become the Director of R&D at Lloyd, Inc from 2007 to 2008.

Michael's career then took him to Virbac Animal Health, where they served as a Product Development Manager from 2008 to 2011. During this time, they gained experience in the development of animal health products.

From 2011 to 2015, Michael worked at the Morris Animal Foundation. Michael initially served as the Director of the Canine Lifetime Health Project (CLHP), where they played a critical role in gathering scientific and medical data for the study. However, their position was later changed to Study Veterinarian, reflecting their evolving role. Unfortunately, their position was eventually eliminated, and they left the foundation in April 2015.

Since September 2015, Michael has been working at Jaguar Health as the Vice President and Clinical Veterinarian. In this role, they oversee veterinary clinical field trials and contributes to regulatory, safety assessment, and manufacturing processes.
