Damola Asalu

Damola Asalu currently serves as the Lead Asset Management Engineer at JLR since June 2023, contributing to the improvement and delivery of automotive manufacturing engineering asset management processes. Previously, at pladis Global, Damola held the position of Maintenance Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing maintenance leadership in Nigeria and achieving engineering cost efficiency. Prior experience at Mondelēz International spanned over a decade, with roles such as Project Engineer, Business Development and CAPEX Lead for Beverage Manufacturing Operations, and Maintenance Manager across various plants, all focusing on project governance, CAPEX management, and operational excellence. Early career experience includes a managerial role at Saula Aluminum, coordinating installation projects in educational facilities. Damola holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.
